A weak finish


Dried and ready to wash. They were still pretty vibrant at this point.




After wash and dry. Let's just call these a first layer.

  1. I recently had a solution dyeing result that looked a lot like this... I figured out that my dye concentrates had been stored too long... Just one possibility...

  2. I confess that as a landscape artist, I don't generally go for saturated colour...I prefer something more subtle. Makes for great skies and fields -- so I think these are terrific 'as is'!

    1. On second look, they really aren't so bad. The photos were really a bit washed out and they will be great for landscapes!!
